Access in the Community
During the Summer of 2012, Access rallied together with members of the community in Northern Utah to raise money for a very deserving patient, Mason Echols. The event, “Be a Superhero, Make a
difference”, included a carnival and 5k charity race in which participants from the community dressed as their favorite superhero to support the
young patient. All of the donations, volunteer service, and donated items went toward remodeling Mason’s home to make it more accessible to him.
The event turned out to be a huge success and, thanks to the wonderful members of our community, Mason is much more comfortable in his newly-remodeled space!
